Here we are again. The winds are blowing, the rain is dumping and the fires are raging. The anxiety and stress of the planet is everywhere you look. Even if you are not directly affected, your heart is. We all feel the pain and suffering. This is when we are put to task. This is when our strength of character is tested. This is where every day heroes are.
When we rise above our circumstances and become our true selves of providing compassionate deeds, we do our purpose. We feel that purpose by the satisfaction of selfless acts. In those simple acts we give hope to others who struggle. Life is this simple. Disasters that we are thrown into are opportunities to find out just how strong we are. We are amazingly resilient creatures of earth.
Own it. You’ve got this. If you can help, do. If you need help, ask. Give someone else the chance to provide assistance. This is a way to “pay it forward,” for you never know when the roles will be reversed. Doing a selfless act, with no attachment to outcome, does your soul good. It puts you into the present moment where our hearts stay.
Continued prayers and healing for the millions is harm’s way, including wildlife.
