This is my 52nd post, my one year anniversary of launching my blog. When researching a subject idea it suggested having a dozen stories ready to go and to expect the idea to morph. And did it. And I couldn’t be more pleased.
So, morphing it is. A year ago who knew what the world would conjure up. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would come to where we are today. Hope and resistance, love and compassion have bloomed, along with much fear and anxiety.
Oz wisdoms and lessons continue to inspire. More than ever, positive distractions are needed. Whether being of service to others or sending out simple acts of kindness, we all can make a difference.
Many years ago, I entered a poetry contest and my poem was selected as the “Editor’s Choice” of the season and was published in their quarterly book of poems. This was my first and only submission, however, I never stopped writing poetry.
In honor of my blog’s one year anniversary, I am posting it, with inspirational photo’s that represent the sentiment.
1) Moon-rise morning over Mount Rainier, 2) Sunset sailing on Puget Sound, 3) Moon set dusk over Olympic Mountains; WA State. Cover photo: Mount Rainier evening moon-rise, and below, an amazing photograph taken one year ago, on Mother’s day, of the aurora borealis, and posted in our local newsites.
Enjoy & welcome to the long summer days!
Perfect night, your bright to shine
Crimson sky, rising moonbow
Tuning in, for eyes not blind
Natures passioned painting unfolds
Glory be for hearts to find
Beauty within like riches of gold
Perfect morn, blue moon to set
Tangerine sky, sunrise aglow
