We came as healers spoke to me. Women Who Run with the Wolves author, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, continues to inspire. As her poem says, some/most are still catching up to their potential. It can take a lifetime before realizing your strengths and what matters most. I was fortunate to fall into my life’s purpose without giving it much thought. Hard work and “luck” (and my NDE at age seven’s intuition) led me to a successful career in public service and private life.

I think about the “being of service” impact has on those that do it. This is where the best win/win happens. With every disaster come the helpers. I’m a “hands-on” kind of person. However, it’s not as easy now, although my blog on “Hope” is my continuum of purpose. What always comes back to me is to stay kind. It is this simple.

Here are some inspiring images (We Rise & Ancient Souls) and words to help you on your path to fulfilling purpose. A healer can be anyone who brings comfort and relief to others. You probably do it all the time without any recognition. You are seen.

We do not become healers.

We came as healers. We are.

Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become storytellers.

We came as carriers of the stories that

we and our ancestors actually lived. We are.

Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become artists. We came as artists. We are.

Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not become writers, dancers, musicians, helpers, peacemakers. We came as such. We are.

Some of us are still catching up to what we are.

We do not learn to love in this sense. We came as Love. We are Love. Some of us are still catching up to who we truly are.
