When Women Stand Together Bathed in Love and Kindness
I miss my women circles. Nowadays, for me, they are in the form of Sound Bathing with 12-20 participants. We are there to get bathed in the sound of healing tones where we each bring energy into the circle. It’s how we recharge. Being with other like-minded women brings a healing too. And afterwards there is time for communing. The other side of this is in solitude where taking Forest Bathing walks brings calm and clarity. Because of the summer heat I do two walks, morning and evening after meals. Getting in my daily steps outside clears my thoughts inside.
Knowing these other women are showing up in ways they can and doing the work fearlessly gives me hope and peace. Some paint or draw, some march, some show up at Food banks or at ICE facilities as I have, and I write. There is an entire world watching us. My blog readers are literally all over the planet and growing steadily. Be a beacon of light. As horrible as the news is, we know we will win this battle. History is on our side and women have risen from their deep sleeps of remembering who they truly are. The healers, the manifesters, the birthers. The Leaders reborn.
We won’t back down ever again.

May all women stand together.
May we soften our hearts to one another,
and open our minds to truly see each other.
May we recognize the strength in every woman,
the strength in her voice,
in her silence,
in her story,
in her becoming.
May we honor our differences,
knowing that our diversity is our power.
In a world that may try to divide us,
may we return, again and again, to unity.
To compassion.
To encouragement.
To grace.
May we be safe places for each other.
May we be soft landings,
loud cheerleaders,
and steady hands in times of uncertainty.
Together, we rise.
Together, we heal.
Together, we grow.
Let us stand, shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart,
and create a space where all women are seen,
heard,
held,
and celebrated.
And as we stand together,
may we light the way for those yet to come.
